GLANK audio notes
Audio herein includes excerpts from tunes that are used at gigs and accompanied by live percussion, video projection, and audience participation. Other tunes are those that utilize GLANK instruments exclusively, such as "Circlics".
Most tunes herein are composed with the idea that a percussion ensemble of 5-15 players would perform them live. So when you listen, imagine all of the analogue percussion sounds being played by a GLANK ensemble, and accompanied by a GLANK audio technician who triggers the more effected/sampled sounds, loops, and sound design.
"SKA GLANK" and "IMPACT 03" - ALL-ACOUSTIC GLANK instruments include assorted LP tanks, giant bass LP tank, saw blades, shakers, and assorted membranophones.
"DandBmetalophones05" - Vibraphone feature, along with LP tanks, bass, and pre-rec loops.
"Metalophones 011" - LP tanks and pre-rec material in seven, then four.
"TRAIN PIECE" - uses field recordings of trains. This tune contains the pre-recorded track for a live video projection feature (see VIDEO page).
"STREET SOUNDS" - uses field recordings of traffic from Australia, including the cross-walk rhythm, flying bats, and strangely foreign washing machines.
